Compass Learning by Edgenuity is an online personalized education tool for our Grade 2-5 students that gives practice for literacy and math skills.
IAR (Illinois Assessment for Readiness) replaced PARCC (Partnership for Asssessment of Readiness for College and Career) in March 2019 as the benchmark assessment for Illinois.
IAR is the state assessment and accountability measure for Illinois students enrolled in a public school district.
IAR assesses the New Illinois Learning Standards Incorporating the Common Core and will be administered in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
MAP(Measures of Academic Progress) Growth is an assessment taken by our students in grades 2-5 three times a year (Fall, Winter and Spring).
The purpose for this assessment is to measure students growth and precisely identify student skills.
Teachers use this information to instruct students to grow to their greatest potential.
