COMMUNITY SCHOOLS PROGRAMMING
Community Schools Programming
The Community Schools Program provides quality before and after-school programming and professional family support services to the HOPE community. Our before and after school care pairs academic subjects with recreational activities.
All programs are taught and supported by HOPE staff and professional educators from a variety of community partner organizations.
Parent supports include workshops in financial literacy, family health and wellness, GED, among others as well as support groups and mental health outreach.
Quarterly family events encourage family learning and togetherness!

Gads Hill Center STEAM based curriculum
GHC offers a comprehensive educational enrichment through our programs. Participants will be able to naturally explore their interest in Science, Technology, Art, Math and Literacy. Each age group will participate in lessons, worksheets, games and projects that build upon their current academic skills.
We use technology as an educational engagement tool, students are learning as they use websites such as CoolMath.com and Compass Learning. GHC programming also promotes Healthy lifestyle choices and social emotional learning, planting the seed of self-awareness participants will need to be successful in their schoolwork, home-life and community.
Gads Hill Center Parent Engagements
Parent engagements are offered to foster a connection with families, staff and students. Gads Hill Center offers workshops that focuses on Career building, Financial literacy, Mental Health, Nutrition, Community advocacy and more. We are here to provide families access to resources that will aid in the holistic development of the families we serve.
Family field trips, Game nights, Volunteer opportunities and more will be offered, to encourage family bonding with the intent that family events will help in maintaining a strong foundation for the families we serve at Hope.
Our after school programs combined art, dance, and literature to expand the horizons of our students. Through this combination students are better equipt for institutions of higher learning by being able to connect classic themes in literature through the practice of art and dance.
We explore a variety of topics and classic themes including the art and cultures of different countries.
